Got an Idrive for Christmas

My Son gave me the throttle controller for Christmas, he keeps asking what I think of it.

I havent installed it as I cant arrghh. Cant bear to tell him as everything says two minute install, pretty embarrassing.

I have tried a few times to get the Plug out of the accelerator and it just wont budge, I am holding in the tab. I then thought bugger it Ill just remove the accelerator assembly, undid the one bolt and it also didnt seem to want to budge. Didnt want to break anything as its Sunday arvo and need to get to work in the morning.

Is there more than one bolt for the pedal assembly? Any tricks to getting the plug off the Accelerator?

What am I missing here, besides brains?

They plugs can be a pita sometimes. Have you tried pushing a blade screwdriver into the tab?

I was quite impressed with the results
