Traction control light on - button isn’t responding

Hi everyone
I went for a beach run on Sunday and after putting it back into 2wd to leave, the traction control light turned on and I wasn’t able to turn it off. Basically when I press the button nothing responds on the car at all, not even on the screen between the speed/revs. A friend checked the sensors near the rear diff and everything looked ok. He also attached a code checker device and it couldn’t retrieve any errors. Any ideas?

may need the yaw sensor reset , which can only be done by Toyota i think.
