Postby where'smycat on Wed, 08 Apr 2020 10:58 +0000

Just saw this. Who's going first?

(I would but I SAS'd, twin locked and put 35's on my 2010 already, so I have to drive it until I die now :D, just thought I'd put it here for you gen 8 guys  )

4" lift, 35's, 11" wider, long travel IFS, coil rear and street legal. Trophy truck anyone?

I think I'd just SAS it and be done... probably where I'm heading some day anyway.
I might be wrong.

Do it, do it, do it, do it!!

Gen 8 guys can't get a SAS done, so gives them an option......bet it costs more though :D

Haha if I manage to rustle up the cash. Do you think I'd get much from a SAS gofundme?

A SAS is probably a more robust outcome if, from memory, the superior setup is using the stock LCA mounts etc... and if its like other conversions, it probably a pre-registration conversion.

Hahahaha, all depends on how good you are at working on your sob story mate :D

Apparently its pre rego for all states and possible for post rego in NSW, Vic and somewhere else? They just posted a rear flex shot, I assumed that with the extra track width the front would be long travel.......apparently not.

And a SAS is definitely stronger.....but if you were minted and looking to do something a little different?

So long travel..!! Must not have been able to get it through the engineering hoops. That is good flex though you can get close to that with Dmax springs and 4in patrol shocks for a lot cheaper. I do want that skinny sway bar though.

Yeah definitely need to be minted or a concrete cowboy up to his receding hairline in debt.
