Tub swap issues

Hi

I've got the current shape automatic dualcab sr5 Hilux 4wd 2016

I want to swap out the tub for the j deck (Sr) tub , my question is will the camera that comes on the Sr tub be compatible to the sr5 , will I run into any problems? Will I have any wiring issues or will the harness of the Sr tub fit into my sr5 vehicle

Can't say for sure, but Toyota generally use the same wiring harness across all grades, some parts of it just aren't connected on lower models.

You'll probably have to go to Toyota. I believe the factory cameras are 6v which makes it hard to use after market. They are made by Fujitsu Ten who trade under the Eclipse brand in the open market.

Ive got the J deck tub camera here. I swapped to A deck type. The opposite of you.
The cameras have a slightly differet mount system.

I'd do you a swap if your interested. my J deck camera for your A deck if your interested?
