I would like to take out the smaller of the rear seats, just the part your bum sits on, the part that lifts up. I was wondering if anyone has attempted it and been successful? I can see how the outboard one just unbolts but the inboard one looks like a complete pain. Has anyone done this? Any advice to get the job done? Thank you.

I took out the bigger section while on my last trip for extra storage.
I guess they are both similar.
On the Big seat it was very easy.
I unzipped the cover and underneath the hinge was exposed only one bolt retains it.
I undid the bolt and popped the hinge free from the base.
The hinge remains but that’s fine as it sits snug up against the other base.

Hope the smaller one is similar.
