World first. Enngine rattle in 2.7 petrol Workmate

What I’m talking about is the diesel-like rattle from the 2.7 PETROL engined Hilux.
I’ve been told by Toyota Australia that it’s a “chateristic” feature of the commercial vehicle drivetrain that I selected as a private vecilce. WTF.
Erm... I chose a Toyota based on their record of reliability and customer service.
Didn’t expect to be treated like a Jeep, Holden, Ford, Volkswagen owner.
