Well, i think a bit early to tell, they weren't balanced properly as the boys really rushed to get them done.
They used a heap of soapy water so i was a bit worried to go down less than 18.
I did get stuck on that clay hill, but a 3 tonne 79 on them doesn't do the tyre justice.
While winching, after they heated up i did feel like they wanted to bite..
On rocks, really i should have been a good couple of pound less, they bagged ok but took a while to heat up, but that could be cause they are still so new and green.
To me they feel a bit wider than the km2s, but maybe thats just an illusion due to the side lugs, they steered nice, below the speed that started the wobble.
No noise, but most new tyres won't make any until they have tired over a few thousand k.
Bang for buck, they are going to be between 450 and 495depending on which company selling them.
You want to be getting 100k out of them for that.
Good time to buy km2s i think.
I saw a few of the american clips trialling, and a few speak of the new design etc, the special anti clog lugs, rararara
Ive got 2 brand new km2s on rims in the garage and apart from the ever so much rubber sidewall lugs the tyre looks pretty much the same.
If anything the km2s tread is a couple of mm DEEPER..
Have them on another set of rims now on the comp truck, going to do a few social runs on them before i need to throw the trees back on for willowglen.
Hoping i take some of the tread down before i put them back on the 79 for end of year trip up north...
Thanks for asking
