Soon after I got my Gen8 I had the "hard shifting" problem where it wouldn't come out of 5th or 6th easily but that was fixed quickly. Apart from that it's been good (touch wood).

Just going off the subject of DPFs here, you mentioned the hard shifting of the trans?
Firmware update fixed it I guess as mine does the same thing as it holding into those gears under light trottle causing labouring?
