2016 sr space cab,

Hey all,

I'm looking at upgrading to the new sr space cab. I enquired today at my dealer and they tell me they do not come cab chassis any more meaning I got to buy the tub and then swap it over for a tray? I cant remember having to do that on my 2013... what further shocked me was the 50k price tag for sr with hd alloy tray tow bar reverse camera and snorkel again 8 grand more then what I payed for my 2013.

is this around the price people have been paying i was expecting around the 44 - 45 I have had a quick search but hadn't had any luck

Hey bjk16 I replied to your PM. That dealer has no idea.
The SR comes with a reversing camera as standard, its only the cab chassis dual cab or single cab chassis that you have to pay extra for the camera.
If your interested in a Tray I can do you a much better price for a much better Tray than the original if you live near Brisbane. I will be posting pics of my tray soon.

I purchased an extra-cab model and swapped on a steel tray, but yes they do come with the tub as standard. They removed the tub once the ute arrived, then installed the tray and reverse camera. I didn't pay any extra for the reverse camera because it is included as standard on SR models.

They never reinstalled the camera once I had my tray put on. Bastards! Would have come in handy for hitching the trailer up every day.

Ah very good, is that becauce the space cabs come out of a different country? I noticed in the previous model the dual cabs had the idle up but not the space cab for the same reason I think,

hmm yeah the guy who I dealt with last time has left and this guy has taken over, I think I just need to play the game a bit more before they will become serious

id be interested to see your tray for sure. do you do both ally or steel? I already have a canopy though so its pretty much just for that to sit on.
