Went to grab the utility box and the rep says it cannot be fitted with a canopy... i could not see any reason why. Anybody had any experience with this

Had the 10k service and of course when I got home had to let about 8 psi out of the tyres.
They supposively adjusted my fuel sender so I will report back on that one next fill up.

Nothing exciting, but working in the mining/quarrying/construction industries, means I need to run a flag on a regular basis. Had our fitter knock up a mount to suit, using one of the bolts off the sports bar. The guy over engineers everything, very happy with his work, as always. Incredibly strong, yet almost factory looking setup.

Had a Brown Davis long range tank fitted. 150lt, Went to cairns and back 800km round trip and drove around Townsville for a further 3 weeks for 1400kms at 10.1lts per 100kms. Not too shabby for an auto.

Fitted a new radio off ebay to replace std SR radio. Looks the same as original, now has reverse camera and GPS. Works better than the Prado Kakadu one as well. Shows kangaroo signs in their territory, speed camera in the average speed area, vehicle speed on driving, plus speed you are travelling in centre of dash when driving in lower speed limit. It lets you know that you are over speed at times as well.
Redarc electric brake controller, wiring for Anderson and solar.
All I need to do now is fit ARB bar and snorkal, make box for second battery behind LHS mudgaurd under tray.
Dash cam fitted into radio, not sue yet, as can not see it on the screen. Need to chase up with supplier, no fitting details.

Awesome setup!!!
I'm currently in the process of installing a roof light bar but am looking for a neat way to run the wire. How did you run yours?
Cheers

Geez, looks like this thread died...

Anyway, I'm currently sitting waiting for the window tint to be applied to my new SR5.

Going with lighter over rears and darker to match the outside look for the fronts.

Quoted between $220 and $250. Most places could do it within a few days.

I got dust all over it!

Went for a surf check along some very dry dirt roads. She's covered in dust ATM.

I FINALLY sold my 105 series, so today consisted of:

Getting a snorkel fitted at Toyota
Ordering my 75mm liftkit
Ordering my Runva Winch
Ordering a diff breather kit

Once the lift is in, then come the new rims and tyres, also need to sort out duel batteries and UHF. :D :D :D
