Replaced the factory dunlops with the BF Goodrich K02 today, so far so good, keen to test them off road.

Finished my dual battery setup, ran wiring to tub with fuse box and remote/wireless relay for rear lights. Not finished, still a bit untidy.

They are louder than the factory highway terrains which is expected but still very quiet given their pattern. Playing around with pressures at the moment with the 4psi rule, may quiten a little with the ideal pressure.

Looks like I'll be saving up for tyres now... quoted $450 a pop. Not cheap but the reviews online are great.

Telliscope keep us updated with your progress and thoughts with your tyres please mate.

I paid 400 each, shop around I was quoted all the way up to 500 for the same tyre. Will let you know, have a beach trip planned in a fortnight so will be interested how they go compared to the factory tyres.

Ordered the 285/60/18s, have to wait till end of July for them to arrive. $510 ea, keeping the business local. Cheaper down South.

Took them for an over night spin to Cape Bedford via Cape Trib' then out to Laura on the Battle Camp track. Back into Cooktown and the coast road again into Cairns.

Total of just over 900K.

I'd love to do a write up on them but I wouldn't have a clue where to start. :D

WOOT!
