Gen 8 hilux issues?

Hi We just brought a Hilux 2019 sr5 but I don't seem to be able to turn on TSS Toyota safety system can any Body help

are you supposed to turn it off? perhaps toyota put it in for a reason?

Doesn’t sound like something that can get turned off... Have you read the instructions?

Thank for replying. I know I sound stupid got the car yesterday it's our first 4 wheel drive first Toyota. we drove 30 km but no speed sighs appeared on the display and no warnings for drifting over the white lines. I will try again today. I just thought I might be doing something wrong.

The lane keep assist appears to work with the ABS system by using the brakes which I find dangerous as it slows the car down all of a sudden. (Thats my experience) Hence I have turned it off.
My Mazda CX5 uses the steering (electric) and is a much better system. The Hilux has hydraulic power steering.

lane assist can be turned off , speed sign recognition no , to my knowledge.
the most important one is pedestrian detection which cannot be turned off either. Id have to check the owners manual again to be sure

Thanks, everybody apparently our car is a 2018 build but 2019 model and doesn't come with the tss again thanks to everybody

ok kewl , I think TSS was added Aug 19 onwards to most models
