Bolt in tool / cargo boxes.

Postby pure mongrel on Wed, 23 Mar 2016 4:29 +0000

I did a search, and unless my google-fu is weak, I could not find a thread on this.

I'm looking to get off the shelf tool / cargo boxes for my alloy tray. I have been told that the boxes that come with the T shaped locking system are easy to break in to.

Is this the case?

Which manufacturer build the best boxes regarding security, quality and dust / weather proofing?

(oh I'm in Geelong if that changes anything?)

Thanks in advance.

You get what you pay for with boxes

That who made mine
I've sunk mine fully under + drove through creek passes at 80kph and had water blasted at them, every stayed dry inside

Also many lie about the thickness of the alloy checker plate
They measure total height including checker
There under body with tapered rear are $800 a pair

farting is alot like jxxxxxg off. both provide instant gratification, but neither is a long term solution to the actual problem......................

I bought this alloy gull winged box at Repco 6 years ago. Expensive ( nearly $1000.00 back then ) but waterproof, sliding storage draw one side and full tray width.
