No the redarc go into floot charge and tops it up when needed

Where do the highlighted cables pass through to reach the engine compartment?

One of the things I have found with a solar panel for the fridge is you can have a much smaller 2nd bat. under the bonnet.

If the fridge bat. is small make certain you have a smart fridge so it "idles" over night until the sun comes up.
