Rear work light wiring

Hiya broke,
I'd have to go with your 1st comment. "They would be gold for when people drive behind you at night on high beam or are tailgating you"
After you ""HIT THEM"" then you need a sign that said "Gotcha". There is always some "MUTT" who wants to annoy you on the road. I DO NEED one rear spotlight for those occasions! Otherwise, whilst muttering & sputtering behind my Lux, I use a Petzl led light head lamp!!
Cheers

Rear work light wiring

I've wired up a fuse box using 8b&s cable(both +ve and -ve from the battery)in my tray which my compressor and camp lights run off, then I have wired up another fuse box in the cabin behind the glovebox, to run the uhf and other interior accessories off.

It keeps the +ve terminal of the battery much neater and saves running more cable through the firewall everytime you want to wire up a new toy in the cabin.

It takes a bit of extra time initially but saves a lot of time later on.

Pics of my fuse box and compressor install.

access hole in my storage drawers for the compressor.

cable inlet and airline outlet to the tray

the fuse box and compressor mount ready for installation.

I haven't got any pics on it actually installed in the drawers but it has been installed for about 12 months with no problems as yet. The compressor feeds into a 3L airtank mounted under the tray with air outlets front and rear.

I got mine posted from a place in Brisbane but I have just found it also at whitworths.

http://www.whitworths.com.au/main_itemdetail.asp?cat=123&item=33586&intAbsolutePage=3

Its a very user friendly fuse box.
