Has anyone changed or upgraded there headlight globes to a larger wattage? any issues?

I put IPF X51 FATBOY globes in and after 18 months i blew low beam both left and right. You can only buy them in pairs and at $150 for the pair i was a little disapointed. :x

Maybe you would be better off putting HID Xenon globes in instead of higher wattage halogens. They give of more light with less wattage, roughly about 4 times the amount of white light.

I installed a set of Phillips Crystal Vision H4 60/55W Globes. They are extremely bright.. this is part of the advert for them

Better reflections of road-markings and road-signs.

These lights have a very slight blue tinge... hardly noticable... and because they are the same wattage they will not blow your fuses or wiring... Got them off Ebay..Current item number is (9130093529246) Cost $78 + postage
