Six and a half years. Started to sound like it was fading just a little, and I was heading to the Victorian high country, so replaced just in case. Was still going though at time of replacement.

When I bought mine, the engine bay required paint repair because the previous owner had a battery explode on him (got it cheap because of that and they fixed it anyway), they put in a Century that has lasted until now (six years), but it's on the way out, I've never had much luck with batteries.

I do have a friend with an '05 D4D that still has the original.

Mine is still in the lux, 2013 year MY2014 never had an issue, only problems with starter motor due to water crossings, a little tap with the hammer to loosen the brushes and she’s all good

10 years and 80k still going... Needs a quick charge if it's been standing for a while. My corolla OEM (Panasonic Japan) still going strong at 12 years and 62k :D but the aurion oem (century Oz) 8 years and 40k starting to fade a bit.
As martynvella said, Japanese batteries seem to last longer.
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.
