Have anyone experience of installing a head unit with "floating screen" on a 2005-2015 Hilux?

I am thinking of units like the Kenwood DMX9720XDS (10.1" display), SONY XAV-AX8xxx (9" display)

Pictures of head unit installed?

Problems? Comments?

Does the head units extrude (?) so much out from the dash that it is difficult to view ac display/buttons?

I have installed the Sony one in the last picture, Its great, only blocks out the clock, and i have it
set up with steering wheel controls mapped.

i just wished it was wireless carplay.

Was the installation ok? Did you get it close to the dashboard?

Sony hava launched normal size screen head units with wireless andorid auto and apple carplay (XAV AX6050 and 4050 in Europe).

Hopefully also big screen units with wireless will be launched. I would also like to have a rotary volume knob.
