Adding aditional swithces on plastic/thim around ac unit

Postby eehgil on Sat, 19 Aug 2023 7:23 +0000

Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible, and a good idea to place extra switches on the trim/Plastics around the ac unit?

Is there room behind?

This apears to be a good location for switches that should be very easy accessible.

I am mainly thinking of small circular switches, typically requiring a 20mm hole.

Any tips of switches that would be good to use here? Similar color on plastic and light as stock switches?

Any tips of where to buy this "plastic area" aftermarked? What is the correct english name for this part?

Thanks in advande for reply.

Not necesarily that many, just indicating optional places to put them.

Have a look at where the factory ones are just under the penal came off easy and yours is a left hand drive so have a look at the switch penal on the left side of the column
