Kit to clean up wiring?

Kit to clean up wiring?

Postby archangel on Thu, 09 Sep 2021 3:25 +0000

Hi, new to this kind of thing, so please be patient! Haven't been driving the lux lately, so when I went to, I found it flat. Nothing obvious like lights left on... I checked under the bonnet and noticed how messy the cabling is, connected to the battery. Now, the battery is an optima yellow top, so not too bad. Hoping it's not dead. Prior to replacing or recharging, is there any kits that anyone can recommend, to tidy up all the cables running to the battery? Light bars, spotties, winches, etc

Thanks in advance

If you know what you're doing then I'd suggest either split corrugated tubing or cable ties. The reason I say "If you know what you're doing" is because if you think this stuff looks untidy or dodgy, then the chances are it "MIGHT" have been installed by someone who's not got ALL the skills required to get it 100%. If this is the case AND you dunno what you're doing then get it checked over by an Auto-Sparky before binding it together and tidying it up.
