Left hand cruise control switch?

I have a 2010 kun26r sr5 DC 4 speed auto and i am looking to buy the torque converter lock up kit and would like to have the lock up controlled or switched on the steering wheel.
Im interested if anyone knows if you can add an extra button or switch off a higher grade or later wheel sr5 2013 type wheel to activate a relay or looking at the steering wheel where the cruise control stalk sticks out on the opposite side of the steering wheel there is a plastic clip cover in the same location. Do the LHD hiluxs have the cruise control stalk on the left side of the wheel which i could clean off the white print and use and just the switch as a switch for the lock up or if the rhd cruise control stalk could be put in upside down on the left side but still function as a switch.
