Help Request: How do I disconnect this connector

Postby William_Foster on Sat, 11 Jul 2020 5:52 +0000

After a day out bush and on the beach I pumped my tyres up, and when I finished the last one and was about to turn the ARB Compressor off it went pop

I will ask for some assistance regarding the pop later, but for now I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to disconnect the black connector in the below picture, I can't find a logical way to do it and it is causing me more than a little frustration (The compressor is in a custom mount under the tub so I need to get it off to diagnose the major problem).

Any assistance you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

The answer: Leaving it until the morning and ample amounts of degreaser (Apparently after 5 years of remote travel mud and dust gets in behind the mechanism making impossible to release the clip  )

Now to work out what is actually wrong with the compressor.
