Gday boys was just wondering I’m installing a idrive to my 2015 3l hilux, does in doing this put more pressure on my fuel injectors and pistons or is it safe to use, just want to get a few peoples opinions cheers

No, it’s just an electric throttle cam in simple terms
It just changes the opening curve

I'm keen to install an iDrive too after a couple of mates with auto Prados put them on the 3.0L D4Ds, and said it made a real difference. I get that with an auto but I wonder how it'd go on my manual lux... Anyone have experience with it on their manual?

I put an eBay model in (EXACT same unit as a wind booster except for a branding in the top corner, and half the price....a third the price of the idrive) and mine's a manual.
Make's the ute way nicer to drive.

All they do is change the throttle pedal sensor so they're more sensitive/reactive, and the ratio is closer to 1:1 on power mode

I've also got a manual, and agree that it makes it quite a bit nicer to drive.
I also feel like everyone seems to focus on it increasing the throttle sensitivity, but its also good for when in low range to be able decrease the sensitivity when really just trying to crawl about

put one on my 2012 kun26r Auto, makes a huge difference. i run it on ultimate 4 most the time.

the auto mode made the vehicle "feel" like its got the handbrake on when not accelerating, not sure on why or what, but when i turn the unit off or on to ultimate mode, the "feel" disappears.

still worth putting one on. I have a 2003 VZN167r v6 auto hilux also, and going from that to the diesel was a shock. The diesel is a slow pig compared to the v6, the Idrive has helped with the turbo lag, which is really noticeable with the auto gearbox.
