firstly yes - I have researched and found some info from these forums
on a 2019 Hilux I can see Pin 17, a Purple wire, is the speed signal and it would appear that removing (or setting up a switch) will result in MOST of the GPS features becoming available while moving ... except the ability to enter a new address which appears to be fed by the GPS system itself.
Has anyone worked out how to disable this too so that ALL functions are available?
I ask as often the passenger will need to enter a new address on the fly, which we could do in my Colorado, but the Hilux wants me to stop - not always viable on 100 KPH country roads while towing a large trailer.
