Cruise Control 07 Hilux Diesel

About a month ago I bought a 2007 Hilux SR T Diesel 3.0 KUN26R (with a 2011 engine, same type) and I'm hoping to install a cruise control kit in it. I've had a look at a few threads already but I'm struggling to find a clear answer.

I'm very short on cash at the moment but I've seen a few kits online that I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some advice on.

There is a plug n play kit on ebay for just over $600 (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cruise-Cont ... 1939673640) which seems pretty expensive but if anyone has installed something like this I'd love to hear from you.

Another kit Ive been looking at is the Command cruise control with a vacuum actuator that seems to go for almost half the price of the plug n play one (https://www.motoquipe.com.au/buy/cruise ... nuEALw_wcB)

My question is, what are the pros and cons of each one and are they both compatible with my Hilux?

The 2nd one is unlikely to work as your hilux is fly-by-wire... there is no mechanical linkage controlling the injectors - it is all electronically.

I've seen the plug and play option work well.

I installed an Autostrada electronic cruise control into a 2wd Hilux 2.7.
All plug and play..very simple to fit, clear instructions.
I fitted it in 2012 and has been faultless since.
Pretty sure it was ahout $600.

I, too, fitted the autostrada unit to my 2009 4wd 12 months ago. All plug and play. Works perfectly, although I found the pictures that were with the instructions are a bit confusing. Recommend the autostrada.
