map sensor reading too high 1kd ftv

hey guys,
i have a 1kd-ftv kun26 hilux 2006, seems to be lacking low down power, checked live data and areas of concern are maf reads between 14 and 16 mg at idle, the map sensor reads 118mb at idle and engine off. have disconnected vac pipe at sensor still reads 118mb, tried new map sensor reads same. checked voltage to sensor 2 outside pins 5v, check resistance on signal wire between engine ecu and map sensor connector centre pin and short to earth both ok. check pins at ecu and sensor connectors ok. if i apply a sight vacuum to map sensor with mitivac i can lower map reading on live data. when i apply pressue to map sensor live data increases consistently upto around 250mb. thinking it could be engine ecu faulty$$$
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing high map reading?
