2013 satnav not saving trips it starts to then stops and restarts if you watch the date it go back to 1999 then restarts reading 2019.
Does anyone know how to reset the unit I have tried pulling the fuse that didn't work.

Not sure if this is what you are after, but Info / Settings / Initialise resets all of the settings to factory.

Had to reset after the fuse was pulled.
Not sure if it saves to the sd card or not.
Everything else is working ok.

Someone more knowledgeable than me can hopefully confirm, but I believe that the SD card only holds the mapping data; it doesn't record system settings.

Correct. SD card only contains maps. Preferences etc are power dependant and stored in the head unit.

Reading the book and came across paperwork I am going to try to clam the head unit on the extended warranty witch just run out on the weekend I thought it all ready run out no harm in trying. Booked in on Thursday

Got a answer from Toyota today they are going to replace it under warranty ordered today 1 to 2 weeks.

Hopefully they have run out of the 2013 model and give you the 2014 model instead; I think from memory that had some internet functionality (i.e. weather forecasts). It would also be good if you could get an updated map SD card, but they will probably just remove yours and put it in the new head unit.

New head unit put in it was still on good then had to order a new card all under warranty.
It was the card in the first place.
