MAF sensor 2tr-fe issue

Just swapped my 2008 wiring loom (dash and firewall forward) and when it's all back together I am getting two errors in my 2tr-fe.

P0102 -Air MAF sensor

Des anyone know if the 2008 genuine toyota MAF sensor is the same part number as the 2012. Failing that does anyone know what the 5 wires do. We are looking at

From left to right
Brown
Blue/Black
Blue/white
blue/red
Black

I'm getting 5 volts on positive blue/black with negative on black. There's no continuity between black and chassis/earth. I assumed there would be 12v in there somewhere too..

Any help would be appreciated:)

Thanks Deadlybeast:)

So here’s an update. Realised that even though I only changed the loom to the 2012 I had to record the key. Now the security light goes out. I still get both code faults. P0102 and P1613. That’s wont worse and I’m assuming they need to before I have a hope in hell. I’ve checked all fuses and relays and they are all fine.

I have bridged the ST relay terminals and the motor turns over. So it looks like my issue is somewhere before the 12v trigger to the STarter relay. I also checked at the fuses and all are getting 12v. Ie ecu etc

Can anyone with a wiring diagram or a better knowledge of the system tell me what else it can be besides:

Ignition switch (checked)
Security system (red light goes out)
Fault codes (not sure if they’re a warning or a no-go error)

Is there other safety switches I don’t know about? Ie airbags, clutch etc...

Any help would be appreciated.

5 hours later and we have success. Turns out that if you replace the dash engine loom and the engine bay loom but not the engine loom iteself the connectors will all connect up but... the pins do not match. The culprit was the larger of the 2 connectors on the side of the black fuse box in the engine bay. Only 1 wire matched while the other 3 had to be moved. I only figured this out after following a starter diagram and tracing out the issues.

Voila the 2 existing codes are gone and the key turns over the motor:D It even runs for a few seconds.. then the new code error comes up.. P0412. Wouldn’t mind clearing this before I do the haltech swap so if anyone has had experience with this code please let me know.

Can anyone tell me whether the code P0412 would cause the motor to stop after a few seconds or is the motor stopping because of the secondary air issue only? As in what comes first, the chicken or the egg? Haha
