2013 hilux climate control problems

I have a 2013 sr5 with climate control ac. In the past I’ve always run with the temp set at 21 or 22 degrees, been comfortable. Now it seems to be freezing cold all the time, and all the way till set temperature is at 27.5. I’ve also noticed the outside temperature display is showing way hotter than it is outside eg43 on a 25 day. Are the two connected?
