Hi guys,
I’m investigating an intermittent fault with my headlights which can be very annoying at times...
Whilst driving every now and then and my headlights are on full beam will automatically come on,
As long as headlights are on the full beam will be on? Does anyone have the electical diagram for the lights so i can understand what can be causing the power to switch?
Maybe a short somewhere i have no idea where to start at this point...

Was more painful when i had the light bar and spotties hooked up to the high beam. No rewired them so i can isolate on a switch in the cab

Automatic headlights and you drive under a bridge or something maybe?

Auto headlight doesn't go to high beam. Something more to do with the wiring when you wired in the light bar and spotlights.
Maybe a short as you suggest.

no I completely removed it from the circuit, the feed for the light bar relay comes from the high beam signal which has a diode in it this then goes through the switch I am using to isolate them in the cab.
with the diode it will only allow the signal to travel one way which is from the high beam to the light bar relay.
but even with the switch off, normal high beam will come on intermittently.?
