Airbag light on *again** fixed**

Hi guys I read the other airbag light on post was from a couple of years ago
My question is
I put it on techstream it says I have an open circuit on d squib ,I changed clock spring twice ( no good ) I plugged in an emulator ( instead of testing continuity to airbag) ( no good )
Checked ground points ( no good )
Checked sensor under drivers seat no good lol
My question is the only other thing to replace is the SRS module
Do you guys think a faulty airbag module could throw the b1801 code
Cheers

All fixed****
Turns out the aftermarket clock spring socket to where the yellow wire socket goes was a lil snug pressed it in with extreme force and heard it click
Like it was in but just a smidge off
And whalla airbag light gone
