Fuel gauge problem

I have a 2012 kun26 auto Sr, at full the fuel gauge works about normal until it get just down from 3/4, then it’s very very slow to get to where the gauge is about half , then soon after I run out of fuel even when the gauge reads just under half. I have changed the fuel sender unit and then it still happens, I then checked the old fuel sender and it works fine. Anything else I can check? Or change? Thank you

Somewhere in here I have heard this problem before. It’s not the sender it’s actually very likely the cluster gauge “sticking”
Do a good deep search in here. I read it somewhere just can’t find it now
