Postby Ian1234 on Mon, 28 May 2018 9:57 +0000

Gday all,
I've done the search on here and google but can't find the info that i needed.
Has anyone hardwired or done a anderson plug for the thumper dual max air compressor? like to see your setup for this one and what you used. Hopefully with all the knowledge of everyone here i can workout how i'm going to set this up in the lux.
thanks in advance.

Assuming that you are referring to this unit https://www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/thumpe ... essor.html

The specs say 90A draw maximum. There are two sizes of anderson plugs (that I have used before). The smaller ones have a 50A rating and the larger ones are over 100A. You would obviously have to use the larger one.

No reason not to use the anderson plug but it is an additional cost that seems necessary if you are vehicle mounting the compressor anyway.
