AC, power windows, indicators not working!

AC, power windows, indicators not working!

Postby trentcoleman on Sun, 03 Dec 2017 10:55 +0000

Hey guys
Wondering if anyone has had this problem before.
I have no power to the air conditioner, power windows and indicators. Thats all ive found at this stage.
Ive checked fuses under steering wheel and in the engine bay. All fuses are fine.
Is there anything else i should look at before i take it to someone with a but more experience?
Ac was making a ticking noise before it stopped working but why would other things stop working?
Cheers

I had a look at the wiring diagram and those systems share the one fuse, 10A ECU–IG&GAUG, which should be underneath the steering wheel. Check to see if you are getting power to there, if your not then check the fuse marked 40A AM1 in the same location. If this is fine, then its most likely the ignition switch.
Cheers.

very common. Its usually the trailer light plug that causes this issue.

Just solved this problem bit late for you by the date on this thread. It was the relay behind the glove box the one on the fuse block it had come loose pushed it back in bingo all working no drama well about an hour to trace and repair

You have to be close.
Is there power on pin 30 of the relay and does it click when the key is turned on and off? If so try bridging the relay base from terminal 30 th 87.
Can send you a schematic if you need one.
