I already have a reverse camera but i installed another camera and monitor to the top of my aluminium canopy so i could see out through the monitor if i needed to, the problem being is that the image is showing up on the opposite side so left is right and right is lefts don't know how to flip it.
The monitor has 3 wires, red,black and yellow rca, connected rca to camera, red to switch, switch to battery, black to earth. don't know how the image is opposite? am i doing anything wrong?

Usually the aftermarket monitor has a setting to mirror the image

I can’t bring any settings up on the monitor, and I don’t know how. It’s a steelmate monitor if that helps

My camera had the settings on it to mirror one way or the other.

Camera. good aftermarket job. Has a little switch to reverse the image.
