Ironman Canopy Wiring

Ironman Canopy Wiring

Postby floody_1985 on Sun, 10 Sep 2017 9:54 +0000

G'day everyone,
I recently bought a second hand Ironman canopy for my Hilux, but can't seem to find any info online about how to wire in the brake light and internal light.

There's a single cable coming out the front of the canopy with a single plug attached.

Any ideas? Otherwise I might have to just pull it apart and work out what wire does what and rewire it.

Cheers

Hey mate,
Any luck with this? I’m in the same boat.
Picked up a canopy for $300 [emoji4] same color and everything, just needed to replace the rear window and a coupe other little things but cans seem to find where that wire belongs??

Have you got a quote for the rear window yet ?
Ask ironman for the fitting instructions. The wiring loom may be a separate item / kit with it’s own instructions. You should be able to work it out and wire up yourself if you’re savvy with electronics. Could also get a quote for the loom from Ironman to make it easier.

Is there 3 x wires? My Caddy Systems canopy had 3 wires. One for 0V, one for brake light and one 12V for the inside light.

I have already replaced the rear window, about &400 it was.
The wire dose have 3 wires, I assume it runs down to the harness under the car I just haven’t had time to have a look yet
