Anyone have any photos or diagrams for this ??? I have purchased from the toyota dealer the fog light kit that has two lamps and holders, the push button switch for the switch panel on the right hand lower side of dash (2006 SR5) and a couple of looms. One has the 2 connectors for rthe lamps themselves then just 2 wires so abit stumped on that. Then there is another loom that has the plug for the dash swtich, a couple of other connectors and what looks like a relay and fuse assembly.

any ideas ??? or should I post up pictures of what I have.

want to wire it up myself rather than get ripped by the stealership

thanks

I have an 05 mate. I had the plugs to go into the fog lights but no switch to turn them on. The wiring for the foggies came from the existing wiringnloom. I took it to toyota and they installed a switch for me for free. All they said was some models didnt have a switch. I argued it was an sr5 and it Should have all the options and they gladly put one in for me. But havnt had a chance to look at it and trace it back to the loom. If ur chummy with ur local dealer hav a chat withem.

just in case people are wanting the indicator stalk with fog switch, you can get them brand new on eBay for $60 inc postage from Thailand

foglight stalk switch

Postby Ekholden on Thu, 07 Apr 2016 9:17 +0000

Hi All. I have trawled the posts and there is heaps on that old subject of installing fog lights and it was a great help when I put mine in a year ago. However, I can't find an answer to this latest upgrade on the foglights I've put in.

I have a 2010 SR hilux and have been using a switch to activate the foglights on the factory harness. The only wire I used was green/black spliced from the under steering wheel fuse box and an earth on the switch (I installed in the mirror switch block) to activate fog lights. All other wiring is factory installed.

I have just installed the genuine SR5 indicator stalk (comes as the left and right single unit) that has a foglight ring but now cannot get it to work in place of the switch I previously installed . I diconnected the old switch but the genuine stalk switch will only activate the dash light displayed in the instrument cluster (SR5 upgrade) but has no effect on the foglight operation. Can you assist please.

Cheers EK
