Yeah I reckon they were forced by whatever legislative instrument controls the automotive industry. Just like, I think, vw recently got ordered to recall cars and cover it

KUN26r 2006 SR Diesel Manual.

Errors I have are:
- Airbag Cct errors
- B1806 Open in P Squib Circuit
- B1906 Open in P/T Squib (P Seat Side) circuit

I've replaced the Clock Spring and I've also used Techstream to clear to errors, but as they are actual faults the errors stay up.

Anyone know EXACTLY (Please no guesses, I see that many many people here just guess and give out wrong info) what these are?

The 2nd one looks like its the Passenger seat, I've checked the connections there are 2 wires but only seems to be one place to plug one in. (I will check on another hilux the same in a couple of days).

Just FYI. My alternator died the other day and was only outputting around 7 volts. At that power output the air bag light comes on. The radio also stops working when the power gets that low. There obviously isn't enough power to run the circuit to deploy the air bags. I put a new alternator in and the light is gone.
