Hi guys,
Been trying to sort this out for a few days now.
I have put an aftermarket reverse camera in. To a 2013 touch screen unit PZQ60-00525.
I used the correct cabling, attached the green wire to the reverse switch, it acknowledges it in the system check when put in reverse.
I can only see through the camera if I select AV on the stereo, and it is on all the time... While the ignition is on.
There are 4 LEDs around the outside of the camera, and they are on with ignition all the time also.
The camera has power from accessories, and the patch loom connects to the reverse switch by your left knee.

Why will the screen not switch to the camera automatically when put in reverse???

the AV plugs in the picture are designated for AUX, the camera would most likely utilise a different plug altogether!

there is a thread in here somewhere on it, the reverse camera uses 2 pins in on of the smaller connectors, do a search.

kerode is correct.
There is a plug that goes into the bottom right socket in my picture.
That is the auto screen switching plug.
It was not supplied with my kit - their fault.
