2012 Dash Switch pannel fit 2008?

Is anyone aware if the panel from a 2012 hilux will fit a 2008? 5 switch spots vs 3 is what i'm after. Will have to use 1 for the demister though.

I know the stereo / air-con controls are different, but the switch panel looks to be fairly similar?

Yes sure does cost 75 bucks has no blanks tho. I have done it to mine

I fitted the 2013 unit just find a ute with the item you want grab the vin number from the sticker and order it from toyota. It also has the aux plug location for the head deck built in.

Is the horizontal switch on the bottom right the same size as the vertical switches or smaller? Does it come with those holes blanked but no blanks in the other 5 spots?

Just remember if
You don't have the switches or aux plug or the aux power socket. You will need the plugs.

Beacon lights
Under ute lights.
And add disconnect switch to come horizontal switch plate

My right panel has turbo timer roof spot lights and bulbar spotlights.

Do you by chance have the part number handy for the right hand plate too please? Mine's got a broken clip and I'd love to replace it.

is that switch pannle part number the light grey or the dark grey? i would like to do this but im not sure if the darker one will look funny, my bos's 2012 is a darker grey than mine?

Hopefully the lighter grey as I ordered one today, as well as the blank for the aux plug.

Mine is the dark grey on the light gray down there you can not tell

I have the 08 version but it has the spots for switchs you just have to cut them out with a knife. There is even a guide line built into the plastic.

My 08 one has the spots to cut out as well. I want to use the OEM look switches, which you can still see the hole with so i thought the 2012 one would look neater. If i was using Carling that covers the hole better I probably would have just cut them out...



You can see the colour difference to the old blank plugs, but once filled with switches it wont be as noticeable.

Got one from the wreckers for $40 come with power socket, lighter socket,, traction and power heat switches. Its the darker grey than I had but still looks fine. Fitted my switches and some 2amp usb power outlets

this is a good idea, i had been looking around as i only have like 2 switch spots. Will these fit the 06 luxs as well?
