sr5 radio into sr

Hi Guys,

Im looking at buying the 2012 sr5 head unit (the one with bluetooth) and putting it in my 2005 sr. I was just wondering if it would fit? or if anyone has done similar

It should fit, might even plug in but the only catch might be the wiring in the SR for the rear speakers. I have heard it is actually there on some SRs and you just need to fit the speakers. If you were closer to me I'd lend you one to try as I have two new 2011 SR5 units in boxes, one of them from my original 2010 SR5 that I fitted an Eclipse unit to and the other the one the dealer took out of my 2011 SR5 when the 2010 got written off and replaced under Insurance.

Hope mines the lucky one that has it if not ill just take it to someone to get it installed and all wired up. But that just makes me think of something else, would it fit a single cab? Like wiring?
