Richard,

Yeah, I'd be interested in knowing the type and model numbers...

PS was the Hella light easy to mount where you've got it? and what did you use as power line and does it go through a relay???

Cheers Mate- Skeney

Mounting Light on Rear of Vehicle

Skeney we had to make up a bracket to bolt under the tray to a support, easy to do all we used was a 100mm length of 25x25x1.6mm RHS tube and welded the U shape bracket from the light on and then welded a 100mm length of 30x3 flat bar on the other end of the RHS to mount under the tray.

The light is wired through a relay and works of the reversing switch.

We also have another one mounted inside the canopy with a switch on it so it can be turned on anytime from inside the canopy.

Mounting Light on Rear of Vehicle

I have also used a Hella 55watt work light, mounted on the rear Tracklander roof rack with a standard bracket and I have switched it at the canopy & dashboard, so i can turn it on whenever I like. So when reversing in the dark (or fishing) I can turn it on & off. It did require fitting a brass waterproof gland on the ARB canopy roof to run the cables through. Also see the brilliant Wicks security washers from Signfix (only in M8 & M10). Helps to protect the valuable light from thievers. http://www.signfix.com.au/Text/1171421488156-4121/Wicks-Security-Washer-
