The switches have 3 terminals, power in, power out and an earth. Connect up the earth to anything metal under the dash (under an existing screw or bolt) and the light in the switch will work. Make sure it's the right switch terminal though. ;)

My last efforts
linked all the earths and the acc lights, made for easy install and less mess, run power feeds from fuse box to each individual switch tho.

For those who dont have a diagram for the rockers:

What's the best way to cut the lip on the switch holes for the ARB/custom rocker style switches to fit? Stanley knife? I also need to wire up the switch light side of things but I think all the info i've found here and the spotty thread should make that doable :D

Have any of you guys tried using these own style switches http://www.stedi.com.au/toyota-2-push-b ... style.html
Or is there a reason that most of the mods on here are done with rocker switches?

i have rockers from my compressor/rear locker install so wanted to match them, I think it's just personal preference which one to use though i think regardless of which one you go for you'll need to trim inside the switch hole after popping the blank off.

Comes down to personal preference, I prefer the factory looking ones.

Has anyone found a solution to the spotlight switch light being on all of the time?

I have looked into the solution on page 2 with 2x diodes, but the diagram shows a switch it 5 wires (12v in, 12v out, dash lights in, dash lights out, switch light out). My switch only has 4 wires (12v in, 12v out, dash lights in, dash lights out).

I have tried installing a single diode on the 12v out wire, which makes the switch light operate correctly, however the spotlights stop working.
