hey guys,
i recently purchased a tow bar for the hilux, but i need to wire up a plug for the lights.
can you buy a plug from toyota that will clip straight in somwhere or will i have to get out the soldering iron and tap into each wire? any assistance would be appreciated. i had a look but cant see anywhere that there is somewhere to plug into.
how does your wiring plug tap into the wires? i hope all of this makes sense to you...Glenn

Glen .. some of the auto places sell a plug and go set up but I am not sure if they have them for a lux?? Mine was done at the dealer.

Just don't use scotch clips...the white ones that you clip together.....they are shyte and will give you grief after a while:o

I tapped in above the spare wheel and to the left top as you look from back of vehicle ,you will see a black tubing hiding the rear wiring, its outa the way and kinda water/weather proofed, Cheers Drew
