Blowers on Top Speed simply lack ooomphhhh

So my Blowers on Top Speed simply lack ooomphhhh?

I tried it between in-cabin and external input - no difference ?
I removed the blower and cleaned it out, only a couple of leaves - no significant affect?
I checked the resistor and its in tact and I get 4 speed variations, (and i guess doesn't affect top speed anyway) ?
I get no difference if aircon is on or off.
I have a 2005 model which has no cabin filter, so it isn't that?
I tried to get around the ducting as best I could and no obvious signs of blockages or rats?

Is there anything else I can check before I replace the motor blower itself?
Much appreciated, Simon

You should probably re-post this in Gen 7, Technical, Electrical.

You're not likely to get tech support in Northern Territory trips and events.

The evaporator core is most likley clogged preventing the air moving through it.

Wow a year and a pandemic later.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking for some help on how to clean the evaporator unit without removing the dash. I am sure I saw something where na appropriately positioned hose is put through the blower duct and rinsed clean out.

Cant seem to find it now?

Any further help would be appreciated.

Hi, mine doesn't have a cabin pollen filter, just a blank filler panel sealed in with silicone.

I did remove the air intake filter, (under bonnet), and see if that made any difference, but none so the air filer is OK.
I also experienced a good suck on the air intake pipe, pulled onto my hand very nicely, so i get the impression the system from air in to the blower is OK.

The evaporator unit is next!
