Site issues - Now resolved

Postby Dave on Tue, 09 Feb 2010 7:28 +0000

Hi everyone,

The site should now be restored to normal. There has been a few issues with a possible attack causing the site to grind to a halt. There has been a few modifications implemented last night to help with this.

Unfortunately only this morning I had realised that there was a restriction still put in place to prevent the forum from working, which was meant to be removed an hour or two after the issues occurred, this has now been lifted as of this morning.

If the problem continues (hopefully it doesn't!) please be sure to contact me by email to dave@newhilux.net

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Cheers, Dave

Dave, slightly off topic.....when writing a reply in a thread, there is a SAVE option...where does the post go when you click save? and is it retrievable to complete later on and then post on the board?

Is the SAVE function like saving a DRAFT reply? Ive never used it and just want to be sure before I do...

thanks

edit: I just tried a test post and save it in the off topic section, and it said it would be saved as a draft, but where the hell is it now? How do I find and retrieve it? anyone?
