Noisy Blower Fan

Hi Everyone,

My 2016 SR5 (32K's on the clock) has developed a very annoying high pitch ticking noise when the fan is on.

Normally starts after about 5-10 minutes of operation, and bloody annoying after driving with it for hours on end!

I had the car serviced last week, the dealer looked and found a cricket in the filter and assumed this to be the source of the noise.... drove out next day back again.

I'm assuming its actually the fan unit, either requires lube or replacement.

Interested if anyone has had a similar issue?

I usually find it's a leaf in the fan blades. Painful to get out.

Mine (2016 SR) did same thing, drove me nuts. Fan unit replaced under warranty - is silent now [emoji106]
