Has anyone cleaned a Gen 8 Maf sensor?

The sensor looks like it has a little snorkel head on it and I can't see any way of getting to the hotwire.
I'm wondering if it's a diffential pressure diaphragm or similar and not a hotwire?

Any input would be appreciated .

I was trying to describe the sensor as it looks nothing like the gen 7 one

The sensor looks like a little snorkel head. There is no way of seeing if there is a hotwire contained inside so that's what had me thinking it may use a pressure diaphragm. I was hoping that someone that knows could offer some advice.
