Fitted a genuine Bullbar Doesnt look right

Fitted a genuine Bullbar Doesnt look right

Postby reggy_69 on Sat, 28 May 2016 9:54 +0000

Hi There,
I am new to the forum and have performed a search but the results were not clear for my request.
There is a gap of about 10 mm where the bullbar meets the panel at the wheel.
Has anybody get any ideas on how to rectify this issue. It is a 2009 build Hilux SR5 dual cab.

Sorry I dont know how to add a photo

They are all the same mate. It's a crumple/impact zone in case of a crash. Looks ordinary doesn't it and you would think they could cover it with a plastic rider or similar.

Needs to be like that also for body flex. All the manufactures have their own sized gaps.

10mm is actually a pretty tight gap. It'll probably touch on heavy corrugated roads. Most bars call for 15-20 atleast!
