33" or back to 31" concerning reliability

Hi all what do you think about best tire size for hilux concerning reliability?

I've used to drive BFGoodrich AT 245x75R16 for almost 40.000 km ... and now almost 10.000 km maybe a bit less on BFGoodrich MT KM2 255x85R16 ... once start using it I've noticed that it start affect gearing a bit ... but not much ...

at the beginning of this summer my right oil seal start leaking oil ... official toyota service have changed it without changing the bearing and in 2 months new oil seal have start leaking again ... have bought all spare parts and today gave car to my friend's service to fix it ...

have talked with him and he think that probably bearing have died so quickly because of 33" tire ... so now I'm thinking ... maybe would be better to sacrifice clearance and move back from 33" to 31" ...

any thoughts?

no lockers ... only LSD in rear diff ...

in official toyota service they told be that toyota have released new version of oil seal ..
as they told me in my hilux used to be installed 90311-T0035 ... and new oil seal number is 90311-47023 ...
they have installed me new one without changing bearing and in few months it start leaking again.

currently I've bought 90311-47013 ... in shop they told me that it's almost the same ... they didn't found 90311-47023

so interesting what have caused death of bearing ... 33" tires ... some defect ... or maybe mud ... maybe it would die even on 31" ... that's why I've wrote here ... interesting if any one else had such problem.
